The wording

"The Deliverables shall pass AI-detection screening at a threshold determined by Client."

Why it is a problem

This is not a quality standard, it is an outcome warranty that hands your payment to someone else's software, a threshold they may not have defined, and a model that changes without notice. A writer who did every word themselves can still fail it. It asks whether a tool approves of you, not whether you used AI.

How to fix it

Make the clause about your process, which you control: composition by named personnel without generative drafting, evidence on request, and a documented review step if a tool returns an adverse result.

Suggested replacement

"Supplier warrants that the Deliverables were composed by its personnel without generative AI drafting, and shall provide authorship evidence for each Deliverable on request. Where Client's detection tooling returns an adverse result, the parties shall treat it as a signal prompting review of that evidence, and not as a determination of breach."
